I’m originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where I was born and raised, and educated. I married my childhood sweetheart Lori, and have been married since July 1985.  Lori is an elementary school teacher with over 30 years of experience. There are two things she loves most….teaching children and interceding in prayer. I am who I am because she serves as a change agent in my life through prayer. We have two incredible children and two beautiful grandchildren.

Together we have been serving in ministry for more than 30 years. More than ten years ago, I sensed the call to plant a church and after answering that call, we moved to the Richmond, Va area and launched Aspire Community Church. 

Our love for helping marriages started after we were a part of a marriage enrichment group. Our marriage truly began to flourish and take on new life. We then join another marriage small group which gave us the tools we desperately needed. Now after 20 years of small groups, marriage retreats, and cruises we realize that if a couple is going to win then they should invest in their marriage.

Our marriage isn’t perfect, but we enjoy each other and we are commited to each other. We have decided to live in covenant and that is what we hope for you.
